Research Assist­ant - 0.66 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 1st qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD can­did­ate)

Work­ing field:

  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in teach­ing and research, with a focus on teach­ing archi­tec­tural design and build­ing con­struc­tion in the Bach­elor's and Mas­ter's degree of the archi­tec­ture stud­ies.
  • Col­lab­or­a­tion, exe­cu­tion and man­age­ment of design build pro­jects in an inter­na­tional con­text. Acquis­i­tion and organ­iz­a­tion of inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research pro­jects.
  • Col­lab­or­a­tion in pub­lic­a­tions, exhib­i­tionis and con­fer­ences.
The PhD thesis can be pre­pared prefer­ably within the pro­gram "Pro­gramm Entwurfs­basierte Pro­mo­tion" (PEP).

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the field of archi­tec­ture
  • dis­tin­guished design skills as well as strong affin­ity to con­struc­tion meth­ods in the archi­tec­tural con­text
addi­tional require­ments
  • enthu­si­asm and com­mit­ment for prac­tice-based research and teach­ing
  • at least three years of pro­fes­sional exper­i­ence relat­ing to the above know­ledge
  • very good know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish (spoken and writ­ten), know­ledge of Span­ish is an advant­age
