Work­ing field:

  • Mod­el­ling of power grids and their con­trol in the Smart Grid Lab
  • Devel­op­ment of innov­at­ive smart grid oper­a­tion stra­te­gies for power grids with a high share of renew­able gen­er­a­tion
  • Opti­mal power flow cal­cu­la­tions of power grids with a high share of renew­able gen­er­a­tion
  • Val­id­a­tion and demon­stra­tion of the smart grid oper­a­tion in the Lab
  • Coo­per­a­tion with pro­ject part­ners
  • Sci­ent­i­fic pub­lic­a­tions


  • Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) focus­ing on elec­tric net­works and renew­able energy
  • very good skills in Ger­man and Eng­lish
  • very good know­ledge of the non-lin­ear power flow cal­cu­la­tion and the optim­iz­a­tion of power grids
  • exper­i­ence of rel­ev­ant sim­u­la­tion soft­ware
  • prac­tical know­ledge in elec­tri­cal engin­eer­ing desi­red
  • innov­at­ive, organ­ized, team-ori­ented
